San Francisco, May 6, 2026 - Recardio Inc., a late-stage clinical biotechnology company developing therapies for cardiometabolic and other diseases, today announced the expansion of its Series C financing and the initial close of its Series C+ financing round.

This financing includes participation from existing shareholders as well as new undisclosed investors. Proceeds from the Series C+ round will supplement the existing Series C financing and support the expansion of the Recardio’s therapeutic pipeline into additional cardiometabolic assets in clinical and preclinical development.

 

Recardio’s multiple disease-modifying and regenerative therapeutic approaches have the potential to significantly improve survival rates and quality of life for patients suffering from acute and chronic cardiometabolic diseases.
